Diameters 13/16" and smaller are a 1-piece cutter, and diameters 7/8" and larger are a 2-piece system.
No more broken or shattered hammer bits; now you can drill through the rebar and not have to relocate the hole to avoid the rebar! Used to cut holes through embedded steel reinforcing bar. It is used to prevent damage to the hammer bit, which occurs if the hammer bit is used after rebar is encountered.
*(7/8 in. - 2-1/2 in.) This is a two-piece system, and comes with a shank to make an overall length of 12 in.; However, longer or shorter shanks are available.
REPLACEMENT SDS+ SHANKS OF DIFFERANT LENGTHS, AND SEPERATE CUTTER HEADS ARE SOLD SEPERATELY AS SPECIAL ORDERS BY REQUEST.
